Security Guard Training

Mandatory Licensing for Security Guards.    www.psa.gov.ie
All security guards and door security personnel, at every level must complete a F.E.T.A.C. recognised training course in order to apply for a security licence.

The critical date for licensing is 01 April 2007.  

Providers and employers of non licensed Security Officers are liable for prosecution. www.psa.gov.ie
